Project Four: Part One - Photoshoot process

Project Four was to produce an extensive range of Fashion photographs for a new product campaign for your client that will be used in a magazine advertising campaign. We were put into groups and given a brand that the photographs would be for and a magazine that they would go into. our brand was 'Topshop' and the magazine was 'Wonderland'. We decided that we would use Corinne Day's photography as inspiration as she tends to focus on everyday life and there is usually a plain white background to her photographs which is what we found when we looked at photography for 'Wonderland' and 'Topshop'.
We looked through a variety of magazines such as 'Wonderland', 'I-D' and 'Love' magazine to select different poses that we would use for the shoot.

We decided to use Antonia and Kirstie as models, Kirstie because her look empitomises the Topshop look and Antonia because she has modelled before and is comfortable in front of a camera so the photographs would look more professional.
Everyone brought clothes and accessories in that we could use for the shoot and we narrowed them down to 5 outfits for both Kirstie and Antonia.
We did the test shots a couple of days before the photoshoot to see what type of lighting we would want to use and to practice poses so that we wouldn't have to for the real photoshoot. Photos of us doing the photoshoot -
