Project Two: Digital Technologies

For project two I was asked to create and design a creative brief. There were two stages to the brief.

The first stage to the brief was to imagine I was working for a media/PR agency and that the creative brief the agency use is out of date and requires restyling and designing. I was asked to re-design the brief using Adobe Indesign. The creative brief had to have a brand identity for the (imaginary) agency. With that in mind I had to create the corporate identity (e.g name of company/logo) and also add appropriate and considered style, colour, structure and layout to all the parts of the brief.

The second stage to the brief was to choose one piece of unformatted 'live' creative briefs copy to provide our client information.
I had to choose between either Ted Baker or Brylcreem.
I choose to use Ted Baker as it is a fashion brand.
I then had to edit the copy, organise and present this information onto a blank brief for the agencies 'creative team' who were working on the contract.

To make the first brief I went onto Indesign and using the rectangle tool covered the whole page to set a background using the colour tool to fill in the rectangle with colour.
I made my logo in the same way using the rectangle tool and adding some yellow in some of the rectangles. To make the star I used the line tool (\).
I used the rectangle tool to put my writing in and added different colours as well as I thought that it would make my brief look simple but more colourful.
For the second brief I used the same brief but added information that was given off my tutor.
